No guessing. Just proof.

Before you open a message, share anything on a call, or open your door to a delivery — check who you are actually dealing with.

Northmoor Bank and Sarah Mitchell are illustrations, and the figures are demo data. Neither is a real organisation or person.

Using it

Three taps, a few seconds.

01

Open the app and tap Verify.

While the call is still ringing, or before you reply to the message.

02

See who it is.

The organisation’s name and logo, the department, and the name of the person contacting you when they have given one.

03

Decide.

A clear result, either way. Nothing to remember, no passphrase, no code to read out.

If the app cannot recognise who is contacting you, that is worth knowing too. It means one of two things: that organisation has not joined UmanID yet, or the contact is not genuine. You cannot tell which from the app alone — but you now know something you did not know a moment ago, and neither answer is a reason to carry on. If it is an organisation you deal with often, ask them for it.

One app, every organisation

Install it once. It covers all of them.

UmanID is one app for every organisation on the network, not one app per company. Whoever told you about it, it is not theirs — install it once and you can check a contact from any organisation that has joined.

An invitation is how most people hear about it. It is not what the app belongs to. It is free, and it stays free for the person receiving the call.
